The Amazon Alexa Dot device was used in the project because of its features including:.The Stepper Motor needs a current of 3Amp to work. A voltage of 7-12 Volts must be used to operate Arduino Mega, 3.5 volts to operate NodeMCU, and 7-12 volts to power Raspberry.To move the lift up or down for one floor, a “399-step” stepper motor was used where each step is equivalent to 25 cm.Arduino Mega control panel has 54 ports and outlets, enough for the project.Thus, the electric current was turned on only upon the call of the lift, if not it is automatically turned off. When the Stepper motor is connected to its L298N Driver, it increases the control's temperature when continuously operated.Ultrasonic technology was used as an alternative to the voice commands to call the lift using the hands without the need to push any button or to say any word. The initial model could successfully convert the voice commands into Actions using Alexa. The initial model of the project was designed to simulate the actual application of the lift.
